previous previous The Peony Society
A Japanese Tree Peony raised before 1940. Its name means ‘Snow Road’ and it is a most beautiful flower of a delicate palest pink with the merest hint of darker flares. The carpels are a bright contrast, being maroon-red. The flowers are large (12-15cms) and the plant is quite vigorous. Alas, mine died and on examination, the herbaceous rootstock had made no new feeding roots. Plant Source: local nursery.
