A  most beautiful Tree Peony by Daphnis.  The flowers are semi-double and quite large, 8 - 10cm in diameter. The outer row of petals lie flat, the inner row curve towards the centre. Its parentage is interesting in that Daphnis had several forms of lutea which he used as seed parent. He simply numbered these as L1, L2,L3 etc. and for Themis the parentage is L3 X ‘White Queen’. The colour is a smoky shade of pink with hints of mauve and occasionally it looks most like a salmon pink. A wonderful plant.   Plant Source: Stephan Tetzlaff
