Shichifukujin
Raised in Japan before 1927 this Tree Peony has large flowers measured at 22cm diameter. The bush is quite strongly growng and branches well. The filaments are very pale pink where they meet the stamens, but rapidly darken to the same vivid red-maroon colour of the sheath. The style is whitish-yellow to yellow and the flowers are lightly scented. The name means ‘The Seven Gods of Fortune’. Plant Source: Riviere.
