previous previous The Peony Society
A Tree Peony bred in 1941 by Saunders. The seed parent is an unnamed lutea x delavayi and the pollen parent is ‘Rochester Mauve’. The flowers are about 10cm in diameter, semi-double rose lavender, with darker flares. Sometimes a yellowish overlay can be discerned, though this seems to vary from year to year. The shrub is slightly lax in habit. Plant Source: Giessler
