A uniquely coloured hybrid by White in 1954. Its parentage is officinalis rubra plena x Saunders 4710 which is itself a hybrid mlokosewitchii x officinalis. The plant grows to about 0.75 meters on strong stems and the flowers are about 8-10cm in diameter. The leftmost picture shows an aged flower and the flowers are exceptionally long lived - ultimately, after 5 days the flower petals had changed to pale yellow. Plant Source: Riviere
