A Tree Peony by Saunders from 1948. A very beautiful flower of attractive form with nice young foliage that retains its redness as many of the flowers open. The flower colour starts out as pale orange and ages to warm yellow. Seed parentage given as lutea, pollen parentage as an unnamed white. A sturdy shrub with blooms of about 8cm and a rounded plant habit. Plant Source: Riviere
