Cong Zhong Xiao
Woody hybrid by Zhaolou Peony Garden,Heze,1965. A Central Plains hybrid - transl: ‘Beaming in Clusters’ or ‘Country Smile’ A beautiful flower of an unusual shade of pink that sets off the darker flares very nicely. It comes into growth very early in the season - a mild December will start it off and in 2014, my plant had large buds by mid February. In 2013 a much colder winter saw the buds destroyed by heavy frost and wind. Plant Source: Imberhorne Nursery
